Once inside the caveand finding himself on an atmospherically illuminated sound stage as opposed to the sun-lit splendour of the The Fox RanchGalen fails to notice that the backpack he was carrying has metamorphosed into a simple sacklooking not unlike the one filled with bread that Zantes handed to Burke at the conclusion of The Good Seeds. Within it, of course, are a Simian medical practicioners collar and Burkes servants smock. It makes more sense for Galen to be carrying these items in the sackbecause, presumably, when he went to visit Kira he did not have a definite plan in mind and would not have anticipated the need for bringing anything back with him. Consequently, he would have travelled without luggage. |
