This is the first we see of our heroes in “The Tyrant”, bagging grain at the farm of brothers Janor and Mikal—presumably in gratitude for bed and board. There aren’t any backpacks in sight—but then, given the circumstances, you wouldn’t expect there to be. Note the delight on Burke’s face as he watches Galen struggle to carry the bagged grain over to where the other sacks have been stacked. Even though this is “background” action, Naughton is still working at fleshing out his character, adding little nuances like this one.
