Farrow (a superb peformance from ROYAL DANO), showing appropriate distain, turns his back on the lies about the astronauts being circulated by Prefect Veska, and purposefully retraces the path to his Cave, carrying a change of wardrobe for the imperilled 20th Century humans under his arm. We never learn where the clothing came from. Was it his own? Did it belong to a member of his family? Or friends? The only clue we have to its origin is his unhurried demeanourwhich suggests the attire was something he was entitled to have in his possession, and wasnt something he had appropriated without permission from someones washing line. This scene is noteworthy for one other reason: in it, Farrow is wearing a vest of his ownsomething that is absent from every moment prior to this, and all those that follow
