After attending the religious ceremony at which the gods of Borak appear to super-naturally claim the life of Clim—the villager who “ran from his duty”—Galen goes in search of his incarcerated fellow travellers, and gives us a good look at his backpack. Note the cords hanging from the underside which were clearly intended to facilitate the attachment of a bedroll.
