The incarcerated chimpanzee paces the hut that had been provided to him as guest accomodations but which, with the addition of bars on the window and a guard at the door, has now become his prison. This is our first sight of the interior of the hut, and although we see most of the room at this point, there are enough obscured apects of it to make it impossible to tell if the backpack is there.
